President Donald Trump said on Thursday in Dallas, Texas, that he is settling an exec order on police reform.
“We’re working to complete an executive order that will encourage authorities divisions across the country to meet one of the most existing professional requirements for using force, consisting of strategies for de-escalation,” Trump stated at a roundtable with law enforcement, belief leaders, and small company owners at Gateway Church in Dallas.
“Also, we’ll encourage pilot programs that allow social workers to join particular police policemans so that they collaborate,” he stated.
“We’ll deal with our cops. We’re not defunding cops– if anything, we’re going the other course. We’re going to ensure our police are well educated, flawlessly trained, [and that] they have the most effective tools,” the head of state proceeded, to praise.

“That implies force, yet pressure with concern,” he claimed. “But if you’re going to have to really work, if somebody’s truly poor, you’re mosting likely to have to do it with genuine stamina, actual power.”
“That means force, yet force with compassion.”
“And I said– and also individuals stated ‘‘ Oh, I don’t recognize if we like that expression’– I said, we have to control the roads.
“What happened in New York City, the damages they’ve done … … you can’t allow that occur,” the president claimed, to long term praise as well as supporting. “You have to control the road.”
“And I was slammed for that statement. … Well, guess what, you recognize that dominated the roads? People that you do not intend to dominate the roads, and also look at the damage they did.”
